ARABELLA
After we relax in the recreation room for a bit, we part ways and I go to my room to investigate this daily journal I’m supposed to be doing. I forgot to do it last night — oops. It’s a typical mood journal, and it prompts me to write about my current feelings and any relevant details, but I leave the section on my sex life blank since I don’t have the time to elaborate right now.
I rush back to the communal area to get better acquainted with everyone. Although they’re all friendly, it’s clear I’m a new person and they know things about each other that I don’t…. like what makes Jan special? Also, why am I in room 12, but there seem to be only six women in this dorm? I have so many questions.
All the women I’ve met while being here are in the recreation room, and I plop down on a sofa while a couple of them smile at me in greeting but…
